Moulins Engilbert, just outside the
Regional Nature Park of Morvan, is a charming village offering
delightful walks to the church, the old prior of Commagny, the ruins of
the old castle,
as well as its beautiful houses and flowery roads.
The county town is situated at the meeting point of the two rivers: the Garat and the Guignon, at an altitude of 225m.
Moulins Engilbert is the home of the world-renowned market for Charolais breeders.
Places to visit: the charolais museum, and the market place every first Tuesday of the month to sample local produce.
